"My name is Steven W. Nickerson, Sr., and I'm the proud owner of Affordable Computer Repair in Bellevue, NE. As a born-again Christian, a family man, and a U.S. military veteran, I bring honesty, integrity, and attention to detail to every repair we handle."

Steven started repairing computers in 2003 out of the family home near Oakland, Nebraska. Word travelled the way it does in a small town — one neighbor at a time — until the work outgrew the house. The shop moved to Bellevue to be closer to the military community and the wider Omaha metro it had been quietly serving for years.

How we run the shop

There's no call center here and no script. When you drop off a computer, the person who diagnoses it is the person who calls you back and explains what they found. We diagnose before we replace, we quote before we work, and nothing happens to your machine without your approval.

That's also why repairs begin with a $120 upfront diagnostic fee. Finding the real fault takes real time, and charging for it is what lets us tell you the truth — including when the honest answer is that your computer isn't worth fixing.

Our guarantee

Steven guarantees his work: you have 30 days from the day you pick up your computer to check it over. If the trouble is related to the original reason for service, there is no additional labor charge to make it right.

Giving back

Every week Steven donates a repair to a single parent in need through our Single Parent Program, and the shop accepts free e-waste recycling from anyone in the community. Usable hardware from one feeds the other.
